Overview

The Arun Valley and Everest Base Camp trek provides superb views of both Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu. Arun valley is located between the SagarmathaNational Park and Makalu-Barun National Park, is one of least traveled but yet unique and exceptionally beautiful trekking regions in Nepal. The trek commences from Tumlingtar.

TheArun valley Trek is very interesting, moving from Sherpa to Rai villages, then down to Chhetri and Brahmin villages. This trek follows an ancient route that takes you through farming villages, across valleys, through high mountain settlements and past monasteries.The trek then leads to Pangboche via Khumjung, where you will be rewarded with spectacular views of AmaDablam, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Thamserku, Kwangde, and Tawache. The route follows the Imja valley to Dingboche and up to the outstanding viewpoint of Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp.

The trek follows the route of Arun River, which is located in between two giant mountains, Everest and Makalu. The Arun Valley trek route offers stunning mountain views along with an opportunity to explore the natural and cultural diversity of the region. The route traverses stunning villages with diverse ethnic groups such as Sherpa, Rai, Limbu, Gurung, Tamang, Newar, Chhetris and Brahmins.

This trek provides walking into pristine woodlands of rhododendron, pines, fir, oaks, and birch with juniper trees with fabulous views of world highest mountains with Mt. Everest.After having wonderful experience of Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp Trek we gradually retrace our steeps to Lukla and fly to Kathmandu.

Detail Information

  • Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our office representatives at the Airport and transferred to your Hotel. After fresh up, hang around near places. In the evening, there will be briefing by your guide. Overnight at hotel. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing: The Swayambhunath- It is a stupa with many temple, shrines, Tibetan monasteries and statues of different gods. Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old Royal Palace of the Kathmandu Kingdom with spectacular architecture. Boudhanath Stupa - the largest Buddhist shrine of south Asia and Pashupatinath-a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located on the banks of Bagmati River. Overnight at hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 3: Early in the morning you will drive to airport with your trekking guide and fly 25-30 minutes to Tumlingtar. You will meet your porter and head towards Satighat. After 3-4 hours of walking you will reach Satighat. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 4: Trek to Dingla Bazaar (1580 m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 5: Trek to Majuwa 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 6: Trek to Salpa Phedi (1680m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 7: Trek to Sanam (2850m) via Pokhari 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 8: Trek to Bung (1900m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 9: Trek to Gaikharka(2300m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 10: Trek to Puiyan (2230m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 11: Trek to Phakding (2610 m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446 m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 13: Acclimatization in Namche. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 14: Trek to Thame (3980m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 15: Trek to Tengboche (3870 m) 4-5 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 16: Trek to Dingboche (4410 m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 17: Trek to Lobuche (4910m) 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 18: Early morning walk up to Kala Patthar for the beautiful panoramic view. After enjoying a great view, we will return back to Gorakshep, 5-6 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 19: Trek to Pheriche (4130 m) 5-6 hours. Meals- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 20: Trek to Tengboche (3860m) 5-6 hours. Meals- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 21: Trek to Namche Bazaar and then Phakding (2610m) 5-6 hours. Meals- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 22: Trek to Lukla (2860 m) 6-7 hours. Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
  • Day 23: After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu (30 minutes). Overnight: Hotel Meals- Breakfast
  • Day 24: Final Departure. Meals- Breakfast
